Free SEO Audit Tool

Egochi built this free SEO audit to score a page the way Google and AI answer engines actually read it. Enter a URL and get a graded report on screen in about 30 seconds.

No account, no PDF gate, no software trial. The report renders right here, and the scoring model behind it is published on this page. An Egochi analyst reviews submissions and may follow up; there is no automated email sequence.

  • Scored 0 to 100 across five categories
  • Live Google PageSpeed data, not cached estimates
  • AI readiness graded for AEO, GEO, and LLMO

What Your Free Audit Scores

Every report is graded out of 100 points. The weights are published here because a score you cannot interrogate is marketing, not measurement.

Technical SEO

20 pts

We check HTTPS, redirect chains, mobile viewport, robots.txt, XML sitemap, and canonical tags. These are the signals that decide whether Google can crawl and trust the page at all.

Performance

20 pts

We pull live Google PageSpeed data for the page, including Largest Contentful Paint, layout shift, and blocking time. Core Web Vitals are scored against Google’s own thresholds, not ours.

Content SEO

25 pts

We score the title tag, meta description, H1, heading hierarchy, content depth, image alt coverage, and internal links. This is the on-page layer where most rankings are won or lost.

Structured Data

10 pts

We parse the page’s JSON-LD and check for an Organization or LocalBusiness entity plus rich-result types like FAQ, Article, and Product. Schema is how machines learn who you are.

AI Readiness

25 pts

We test answer-first structure, question coverage, llms.txt, AI crawler access in robots.txt, and quotable paragraph shape, then an AI model reviews the page and returns a citability verdict.

The technical and content checks mirror how our team audits client sites by hand. If the report flags crawl or markup problems, our technical SEO service fixes that layer; if titles, headings, and depth are the weak spots, that work lives in on-page SEO.

The AI Readiness Score Is What Other Free Tools Skip

A quarter of your grade measures whether ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and Perplexity can find, read, and quote the page. Four of those checks are worth knowing by name.

Blocked AI crawlers

If robots.txt blocks GPTBot, ClaudeBot, or PerplexityBot, those engines cannot cite you, no matter how good the content is. We read the file and name any bot you are turning away.

Answer-first structure

AI engines quote pages that answer the question in the first paragraph. We measure whether your opening actually carries a liftable answer or makes the reader scroll for it.

The llms.txt file

A small file that describes your site to AI systems in plain text. Cheap to add, still rare, and we check for it because early signals tend to become table stakes.

A model citability verdict

An AI model reads your page the way ChatGPT or Perplexity would and returns an honest verdict on how quotable it is, with three specific fixes ranked for you.

Scoring is only the diagnosis. Egochi runs AI SEO services that do the treatment, from entity cleanup to the content shapes answer engines cite.

Run the Audit if You Recognize Yourself Here

Who this is for

  • Business owners who want a straight answer on why a page underperforms before paying anyone.
  • Marketers who need a scored baseline to show a boss or client what to fix first.
  • Site owners preparing for AI search who want to know if answer engines can even read them.

When this may not be the right fit

  • Your site is brand new with little content. Audit scores measure what exists; write the pages first.
  • You already know the site has structural problems everywhere. Skip the diagnosis and start with a full crawl.
  • You need backlink or competitor data today. That layer needs the paid audit, and no free tool does it honestly.

The businesses we work with usually arrive somewhere in the first list. The SEO case studies show what happened after the diagnosis turned into an engagement.

Three SEO Audit Myths Worth Clearing Up

Myth

A perfect score means page-one rankings.

No score does. The audit measures page health, and health is the entry ticket, not the trophy. Rankings also depend on authority, competition, and search intent, which is why the report pairs every score with what to do about it rather than a promise.

Myth

Free audit tools are just lead bait.

Some are, and the tell is a report that hides findings behind a sales call. This one shows every check, every result, and the full scoring model on this page. Yes, Egochi sees your submission, and we say so in plain text under the form.

Myth

The tool that flags the most issues is the most thorough.

Issue inflation sells software subscriptions. Two hundred warnings about missing alt text on footer icons bury the one canonical problem that actually costs rankings. We score a fixed set of checks that move results and rank the failures for you.

What One Page Can and Cannot Tell You

A single-page audit is a diagnosis of one page, and we would rather tell you its limits than pretend otherwise. Here is what this free report cannot see.

Crawl-wide problems

Duplicate titles, orphan pages, redirect loops, and index bloat only show up when every URL on the site is crawled and compared.

Backlinks and authority

Link profiles need third-party index data and manual review, and they often explain rankings that on-page scores cannot.

Competitive context

A score of 78 means little until it sits next to the three pages that outrank you for the keyword you actually want.

Server logs and rendering

How Googlebot spends its crawl budget, and what JavaScript hides from it, takes log files and rendered-DOM testing.

That deeper work is the paid audit. Egochi's full-site SEO audit runs $2,500 to $10,000 depending on site size, covers everything above, and ends in a prioritized action plan our team can execute or hand to yours. Questions People Ask About SEO Audits

  • How much does an SEO audit cost?

Automated single-page audits like this one are free. A professional full-site audit from Egochi runs $2,500 to $10,000 one time, depending on site size and complexity, and includes a prioritized action plan. Agencies that quote far less are usually reselling an automated crawl without the human analysis.

  • What is included in an SEO audit?

A real audit covers technical crawlability, on-page content, site speed, structured data, internal linking, backlinks, and now AI search readiness. This free version scores the first five for one page. The paid version adds backlinks, competitors, and a site-wide crawl with fixes ranked by impact.

  • How long does an SEO audit take?

This free report takes about 30 seconds because it audits one page with live data. A full-site professional audit takes one to three weeks. Most of that time goes into human analysis, because the crawl itself is fast but deciding what actually matters for your revenue is not.

  • Can I do an SEO audit myself?

Yes, and this tool is a fair place to start. Free tools catch mechanical problems like missing titles, slow pages, and blocked crawlers. What they cannot do is weigh findings against your competitors and your business model, which is where an experienced analyst earns the fee.

Free SEO Audit FAQs

Do I need an account to run the free audit?

No. Enter the URL, your name, and your email, and the report renders on this page. We ask for the email because an Egochi analyst reviews submissions and will follow up if we see something worth a conversation.

Which URL should I enter?

The page you need to perform, not just the homepage. If a service page or product page is supposed to rank and bring in leads, audit that URL. Homepages usually score better than money pages, which is exactly why money pages deserve the check.

Why does my score change between runs?

Two of the data sources are live. Google PageSpeed re-tests the page on each run and its lab numbers vary a little, and the AI citability verdict comes from a model reading your page fresh each time. Swings of a few points are normal; big swings mean the page itself changed.

What happens to the information I submit?

Your name, email, and URL come to Egochi so a human can follow up. The page itself is fetched once for analysis, scored by our system with help from Google PageSpeed and an AI model review, and shown to you. We do not sell or share the data.

Is this audit a sales pitch?

The scores are honest either way. Plenty of pages test well here, and the report says so when they do. If yours tests poorly, the report shows exactly which checks failed, and you are free to fix them yourself with the details we give you.
